Analyzing the results of enzyme activities recorded during fermentation of the five substrates employed, it can be observed
that cultivation on sugarcane bagasse submitted to mild intensity pretreatment was that which resulted in the highest cellulolytic activities (CMCase, FPase, Cellobiase and b-glucosidase) from the microorganism A. strictum, compared with those grown on the microcrystalline cellulose AVICEL.
