The collection table is controlled in connection with the layer former in such a way
that the transfer slide speed is equal to the conveyor belt speed of the collection
table during the upward movement of the layer former.
The layer stoppers ensure that several layers can be collected depending on the
length of the collection table. The upward-- and downward motion of the layer
stoppers is controlled by photoelectric barriers.
During formation of the first layer following slide transfer, a photoelectric barrier
monitors the maximum number of rows and triggers the upward motion of the
layer stopper.
If a layer is in the pick-up position, the last row of the layer is examined using two
photoelectric barriers in order to check the layer pattern. At the end of the
collection table an additional photoelectric barrier can check whether all
bottles/jars have actuelly been transferred (option).
The bottles/jars are only lifted by the pick-up system when the photoelectric
barriers are in the corresponding control state. In addition, it is also possible to
move the collection table in steps, whereby the layer stoppers then remain in the
upper position (option).
