This senior project aimed to study the effect of electroless plating cycles in palladium deposition on macroporous alumina supports at 5, 10 and 15 wt% CaZrO3 by each sample to be electroless plating all 4 times. And the experimental work was to study the effects of seeding on macroporous alumina supports at 5, 10 and 15 wt% CaZrO3 .
The experimental results revealed that, the first, the effects of seeding on macroporous supports. After seeding surface were very smooth as possible is sorted descending the sample 10wt% CaZrO3 > sample 5wt% CaZrO3 > sample 15wt% CaZrO3. Especially, sample 10wt% CaZrO3 when checked with an electron microscope at a magnification 4000x were obtained PdSn4 particles.Them were helped in palladium coating and palladium was better deposited. In the second part, the effect of electroless plating cycles in palladium deposition on macroporous alumina supports at 5, 10 and 15 wt% CaZrO3.Sample 5wt% CaZrO3 has the number of coating was the 3 times and 10wt% CaZrO3 has the number of coating was the 4 times and sample 15wt% CaZrO3 has the number of coating was 4 times, and all 3 samples were found specimens. Palladium was a very good adhesion. Efficiency is sorted in descending the sample 10wt% CaZrO3 sample > 5wt% CaZrO3> sample 15wt% CaZrO3. So that sample 10wt% CaZrO3 to be use the next stage.
