The influence of S. luteus and T. virens on P. sylvestris var. mongolica seedlings was evaluated by measuring four plant growth parameters three months after the first inoculation (Table 3). Seedlings that were inoculated with S. luteus 30 days ? T. virens displayed the highest increase in plant height (1.42-fold higher) and the highest collar diameter (1.7-fold higher) compared to the control. Similar results were observed for the biomass of the seedlings inoculated with S. luteus 30 days ? T. virens. The fresh and dry weights were 1.54-fold and 1.5-fold higher, respectively, than those of the control. There were no significant differences between the S. luteus ? T. virens and S. luteus 30 days ? T. virens treatments (P[0.05) in biomass. However, the seedlings treated with S. luteus 30 days ? T. virens showed the highest increase in the four parameters measured.
