There was also a significant difference between those who had less than 3 years work experience as a nursing staff member and the other experience groups (P=0.004), and between those who had less than 3 years or 3 to 10 years in the current work unit and the other groups in this category (P=0.002). There was a significant difference between the practical nurses’ provision of information about symptom management (P=0.000) and about evaluation of treatment efficacy (P= 0.007) and that of the other educational groups. Nursing staff with 11 to 20 years or 21 or more years of work experience in the current work unit also provided significantly more information about controlling the TBI patients’ intracranial pressure (P=0.019).
