I think the most important factor is that the child be systematically exposed the child doesn't have to have an enormous amount of exposure so it's not this notion that you have to have a lot of time in then second language that it has to be arm equal in time to the exposure to your home language so but that's for example if you speak English in the home and you're learning Spanish that the amount of exposure must be equal otherwise you'll I'm damage the child in some way they won't have the same number minutes and so they won't have the same competent but the human brain doesn't work on quantity it work some quality to it wants systematic exposure regular exposure no and with stable users across different context that a rich and varied and the child will achieve language fluency but it's not a matter of the number minutes in French as compared to the number of minutes and English
