The objectives of this study were to (1)
evaluate different water flow rates used for flow-through chemical treatments of eggs
and determine the minimal flow rate required to maintain a formalin treatment concentration
of 1500 ~1 1-l for a duration of 15 min, and (2) statistically compare the
effectiveness of hydrogen peroxide, formalin, and sodium chloride treatments on fungal
infected and uninfected eggs of rainbow trout.
