Information collected in the questionnaires included general
information on issues of company such as organization name,
reasons for engagement in service line and registration. Other information
sought was legal issues, contract arrangement and
duration, knowledge over the existing by-laws/laws that guides
solid waste management, tendering procedures and payment of
user fee. Also information was sought on management aspects such
as costs, revenue, user fee collection, human resources, and operational
aspects including method of service provision, equipment
used, monitoring issues and wastes collection frequency.
