Vibration Analysis Report
Motor: The overall velocity is considered high in axial direction, which velocity trend at point 2, axial, has been increased
from 1.863 to 6.383 mm/s-rms. Fig 1 shows the velocity waterfall at motor point 2, axial, which has the same sign as pump
point 3.
Pump: The velocity trend at point 3, axial, has been increased from 2.605 to 7.411 mm/s-rms (Fig 2), with rising of
predominant 1X motor peak and its harmonic (Fig 3 and Fig 4).
*Phase measurement indicates that there is 180⁰ out of phase between point 2 (Motor DE) and point 3 (Pump DE) across
coupling in axial direction (Fig 5).
Problem in angular misalignment between motor and pump.
Keep monitoring the 1X motor signal more closely. If the vibration trend is increased more than 50% (compare to previous
measurement), checks the coupling and plan for re-alignment at the machine.
