Performed measurements of drive efficiency of various assemblies showed and confirmed its decrease if some filtration techniques were used.
Nevertheless, this decrease is only very moderate in the case of using the input or output reactor, when the decrease is only evident at higher levels of induction motor load.
If the broadband passive harmonic filter is used, the efficiency decrease is higher; nevertheless, it does not cause the loss of efficiency above 2%.
The output sine- wave filter has rather lower efficiency in comparison to the output reactor, as seen in Fig. 11,
and if it is used, an additional moderate decrease of the drive efficiency can be expected. As seen in Fig. 12,
and in Table III, respectively, the combination of input broadband passive harmonic filter and output sine- wave filter brings the lowest values of drive efficiency for higher rates of motor load. However,
