Hilton HHonors Worldwide (HHW) operated the program, not as a profit center but as a service to its two parents, HHC and HIe. It Was required to break even each year and to measure its effectiveness through a complex set of program metrics. Diskin ran the limited liability corporation with a staff of 30, with one vice president overseeing the program's marketing efforts and one with operational and customer service oversight.
