For the runway we are checking if we can do 5T+5T which can be used synchronously for >5T loads in future. There are some CG and synchronisation issues to be studied. We can study this, maybe get a 5T first pending further study of the other 2T or 5T, or just get 5T + 2T now. Up to you all.
But now another problem is after you got Rully to contact other suppliers, we now have too many different comments and opinions not just for the heavy cranes but now also the 1T, some say the construction or runway is not good enough, some say its ok, or construction must be changed someway etc.. Because of this we need to study their different comments more and be sure what is or or not is safe and workable. As you know even our own existing contractor and suppliers keep changing their opinion yes-no-yes-no and have completely different opinions at different times. Here there is no proper or reliable answer to many things.
I already see this same problem in many other situations here. So my feeling is that in Indonesia the local technical skills, knowledge and standards is quite bad, it is uncertain and inconsistent. It is not reliable and I think we cannot depend too much on them for important or even other basic skills and services. I think we need more and more TME or Thai engineering skills and expertise to help to analyse and contribute in such issues I will have more comfort with this.
