3.1.4. Optimization of ICP-AES analysis
It was established that Na-DTC caused a 20–
40% decrease in the analytical signals of the majority
of the elements studied as compared to the
signals produced by aqueous standard solutions.
The excitation conditions were improved by increasing
the incident power. The matrix effect was
eliminated using a calibration with standard solutions containing the same amount of Na-DTC as
that in the samples analysed.
