Three varieties of mushrooms (Lentinula edodes, Pleurotus
eryngii and Agaricus bisporus) were used as test materials.
Freshly harvested mushroom samples were collected from a
local market in Wuxi (Jiangsu, China). The mushrooms were
sorted for their size and freshness and preserved at a refrigeration
temperature of 4 C until use. Before use, these
mushroom samples were washed with cold water and equilibrated
to ambient temperature.
