Most of the places listed are absolutely useless!

This doesn't make sense. The United States occupies the first NINE spots, and yet receives the second most tourists after France, lagging behind by a wopping 13 million visitors a year. And yet the Eiffle Tower is in 38th place. You're telling me that all those people visiting France aren't going to the damn Eiffel Tower? What? What maniac goes to France and not the Eiffel Tower?!

To actually visit the Eiffel tower (and thus be counted in the numbers above I believe), you have to wait and pay, unlike the Sacré Coeur and Notre Dame, part of which you can access for free (the wait is still there though).
They do not count the hordes of people taking pictures at its feet I presume.
And France is thankfully much more than just Paris, and although I like the city, you ought to visit other wonderful towns like Toulouse (not saying that because that's where I live or something.) We also get more tourists because we're kind of in the middle of western Europe and it's easier for a Brit, a German or Spanish tourist to hop beyond the border and visit.
Also, this list is kinda stupid, listing together "attractions" that are just places you can freely stroll through and paid-for actual attractions.

Pierre Sylvestre Oh I'm not saying Paris and Paris is the only attraction. Just that pretty much everyone does see it while their there.
