For the first landscape specification, there are very similar
results across the coastal specifications. The coefficient of the variable WATER is positive and significant. For specification
C1–L1 it is significant at the 5% level. For the other two
specifications, C2–L1 and C3–L1 water is significant at the 1%
level. Therefore, the more water features such as lakes and
rivers in a district the higher the price of accommodation will
be. In addition, heathland in a district has a positive effect on
price: the coefficient of the variable HEATH is positive and
significant at the 5%, 1% and 1% level for C1–L1, C2–L1 and C3–
L1 respectively. MOOR is not significant in any of the
specifications.
