Can you imagine the craze/hype that would ensue if Staple and Jordan Brand were to collaborate on a pair of kicks? It would bring chaos, but maybe one day it can happen.
In the meantime this is the closest thing we’re gonna get to a Staple x Air Jordan collaboration. Here we take a look at three shoes that were created by Staple Design, Sneaker Con and the Make A Wish foundation. The collection consists of the Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 3 and the Nike SB Dunk High and there is only one pair made of each silhouette. Each shoe is dressed in prints inspired by Jeff Staple’s popular “Pigeon” theme that saw on the Nike SB Dunk Low that caused madness upon its release in 2005.
The Air Jordan 3 “NYC Pigeon” was designed by artist Kreative Custom Kicks, the Nike SB Dunk High “NYC Pigeon” was designed by customizer Dez Customz and the Air Jordan 5 “NYC Pigeon” was designed by customizer Sab One.
If you’re interested in any of the pairs above you can bid on all of them right now on eBay. Oh yeah and the packaging on the Air Jordan 5 is pretty cool and as a result has made the price for that pair skyrocket.
