Impulsive and headstrong, Sara is prone to rash actions and temper tantrums. The baby of the house, she worships her father and mother, and is adored by her aunts and her grandfather. As a child, she fell in love with Lucas, the man her father saw like a son, and Silvia's ex-husband. No one approved of the relationship, and things ended badly. Months later, when they decided to try again, Sara begged Lucas to keep it a secret from their family, unable to bear more family interference. This quickly came in handy when Lucas got in trouble with the law, and Sara began to actively help him evade the cops and rescue his kidnapped sister. She was arrested for aiding and abbetting, but was released after receiving a message from Lucas and agreeing to cooperate.
When she discovered Lucas was not really dead, Sara went with him to hide out in a beach town. There, they resolved to marry, but Lucas' location was discovered by the very band of thugs he was hiding from, and while he was away trying to bring down their leader, the Kaiser herself visited Sara. They fought, and Sara was shot in the stomach. She made it to her wedding to Lucas, but collapsed soon after she said her vows.
Sara survived the event, and now lives happily married to Lucas, despite the fact that she encouraged Lucas to take a job that would take him to the United States for months. She has been kept busy, however, since her husband went away. Most of her time was devoted to supporting her two beloved aunts Silvia and Pepa as they weathered a crisis and break up in their relationship, but when her aunts reconciled, Sara found herself falling into an affair with her old boyfriend Aitor. Now, she's not sure who she wants, sleeping with Aitor as Lucas prepares to come back from the CIA.
