Final approach for decision on airport expansion

They have blanketed London with posters, splurged a combined £6m on marketing campaigns and rallied supporters from every corner of Britain and beyond. But for the next few months Heathrow and Gatwick only have five people to worry about in their three-year battle over who will win the go-ahead for airport expansion.
