You are using probably http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/978/? this is what causes the problem, the NPC part of those textures.
Which is also listed in the troublesection of this. An other user stated the same and the problem were the textures, not the mod.
I'm playing with this mod and many other too as it seems and there have been not much reports about that. Also, every report for now, has been false, the problem was always caused by something else, as it came out in the end.
Randomly install and uninstall a mod that you don't know will harm your savegame. There are a lot of unexperienced modders nowadays. If you delete a mod, you should always revert back to a save, where this mod was not installed, otherwise the game becomes unstable and crashes. I learned that from previous Fallout / Elder Scroll Games
