The study reveals a few t2w hypointense on t2w hyperintense areas at the periventricular white matter associated dilated both lateral ventricles and decreased periventricular white matter volume is seen. Phominent sulci nearly abutting the ventricular surface is due to loss of white matter volume
Well formed corpus collosum shows normal thickness compared with her age no brain anomaly or cortical dysplasia or grey matter heterotopia is found the myelination is compatiblewith her age
no intracranianial space lesion or hemorrhage is seen
no mildline shift or obliterated basal cistern
The ventricular system show no hydrocephalus
Both orbits and mastoid air cell appear unremarkable
Likely to be late chronic ischemic change of the periventricular white matter parenchyma in preterm as dascibed
