3.2. Antiaging
Aging caused by the genes we inherit is intrinsic (internal),
due to passage of time is chronological and due to environmental
factors such as exposure to the sun’s rays and dryness
is extrinsic (external), which leads to premature aging. Aging
of the skin involves degradation of extracellular matrix in both
the epidermal and dermal layers, which modifies the physical
properties of skin and leaves visible signs on the surface [52].
