Lipid retention was also significantly affected
by diet, with the highest lipid retention found among fish fed the
FM20 diet and the lowest found among those fed the FM75 diet. Linear
regression analysis of weight gain as a function of FM sparing revealed a
statistically significant relationship, but not one that explained more
than 50% of variability in the dataset (weight gain = − 3.6046 (FM
replacement level) + 3164.1; R2 = 0.4188).
