The results of our study also show that
witnessing other people treating acute asthma attacks
or witnessing other people using inhaled medicine can
also significantly affect teacher self-efficacy, validating
Bandura’s belief that even without actual social
experience, one can learn behavior and improve selfefficacy
through vicarious experience and simulation.
In our study, whether the participants had been
involved in asthma-related conferences did not affect
their self-efficacy.
