Stocker cycle time accounts for the time it takes to
pick a lot from any location and place it at any location.
It determines the average times from equipment analysis
and data collection. However, there is variability in the
overall cycle time of 18 s. This is because the length of
time required to complete the cycle depends on how far
the stocker robot has to move to reach a location. To
account for this variability, the stocker cycle time is
modeled with a normal distribution. To model the
stocker cycle time, a normal distribution with a mean of
18 s and a standard deviation of 2 s was used.
