Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) maintains a long-distance relationship with many of its customers. The company provides wireless and fixed-line communications services to consumer and enterprise subscribers in some 25 countries, mainly in the Asia/Pacific region. SingTel is Singapore's largest phone company, and subsidiary Optus is Australia's #2 carrier (behind Telstra). SingTel primarily provides mobile and broadband Internet services, but it also offers wireline telephony, information technology, and pay television services under the mio TV brand. It provides Internet services domestically through SingNet.
