Ethical dilemma is the pressure that occurs to the leader when the leader has to make decision of choices between having potential to make benefit for personal and/or organizational. For example In HRM society survey was found that 47% of the HR professionals reported that they felt pressured by other employees and managers to compromise their organization’s standard of ethical business conduct in order to achieve business objectives. The two possible ethical dilemma illustrates are
- Employees receiving gifts or entertainment in violation of the organization’s policies. Basically the firm will try to pay or waste with employees at least they can but giving amusement to them is just conflict with business achievement.
- Accepting kickbacks or bribes, for sure that everyone wants to get favor, money or something else that is easy earning but sometimes that can be negative for the firm or organization and other people.
