Long is the way of learning through theories; short and effective by examples."
This maxim I have personally tested and it works. As a youth in school I had the opportunity to recite something for the exam in English and then I forgot it. But when faced with a practical problem to explain something in real life, then you are forced to learn as you go along. In the beginning at CICD my English skills was only a few words jotted down chaotically, and my explanations were more artistic - with gestures, facial expressions and so on. Later, I began to put together basic sentences, but I noticed that they were always in the present tense!
And it is not easy to talk only in present, when you wish to illustrate that you did something or you will do it.
Little by little I've noticed that my vocabulary is enriched and I can understand my colleagues in class more and more. Although I continue to have major problems with the grammar, now I can assemble phrases in the past and in the future tense. I also started to improve pronunciation of the words. Before in the shop I wanted to buy “breath”, now I buy “bread”.
As someone somewhere said: Life is a school and the best teacher is practice and experience.
