Each drive motor receives the same supply current from the power inverter. When the F/N/R switch is in the NEUTRAL position and the parking brake is released, the power inverter will supply a small “holding” current to the drive motors for approximately two seconds. The holding current will keep the machine from moving while in NEUTRAL when there are no other power train commands. After approximately two seconds, the Machine ECM will command the Motor ECM to stop current flow and the Machine ECM engages the service brakes.
