The proposed approach was applied to the determination of
total iron in water and food samples. A 5.0 mL prepared water
or food samples were performed the procedure described in
Section 2.3. The results are listed in Table 2. To examine the
accuracy, the recovery experiments were carried out and all sam-
ples were spiked with iron standard solutions in two levels. The
obtained recoveries were reasonable for iron in samples in a range
of 95–104%. The accuracy of the proposed method was also vali-
dated by determination of Certified Reference Materials and the
