Kom-Ba-Wa, has opened in Soi Suanplu, Sathorn Road on 19th May 2015. Kom-Ba-Wa is a modern and relax restaurant that includes both dining room in a cheerful flamboyant ambiance and a sushi bar, also features a cozy private dining area that can be reserved for larger parties. The décor has combined between artistic antique decorations from Japan and France, such as early 1920’s postcards, Japanese cabinets in Kiri wood from Nagoya province to French Empire brass chandeliers.
The food menu features signature Japanese cuisine of traditional flavors and ingredients with modern cooking methods. Some of Chef’s signature dishes, such as “Rosebeef (240 days Black Angus) with citrus ponzu dressing” vision of the traditional beef tataki, “King salmon with edamame puree and yuzu butter sauce” and “Sakura shrimp cakes” dish inspired by a traditional recipe from Okinawa, using fresh sakura shrimps from Japan.
Also, other highlights are the products including the top-quality fresh ingredients, fish and seafood imported directly from Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo, 60 days aged Tajima Wagyu beef, all the creative combination of the Japanese Chef, Goro Takatsu.
“ Our food is a modern interpretation of the traditional Japanese Cuisine, using regional recipes with the finest ingredients and giving our own touch” saying Chef Goro.
The drink menu features special selections of Premium Japanese Sakes; Dassai, Kizakara, Garanryu , Japanese whiskies from well-known companies as Nikka to artisan distillery as Eigashima, and selections of boutiques wines have also been carefully selected to match with Kom-Ba-Wa’s food. Furthermore, Kom-Ba-Wa’s cocktails have been created with Japanese sake, such as signature drink “Hokkaido Bellini” (Nagono peach sake topped with Prosecco).
The restaurant is featuring a signature sound by DJ Clement from the famous Parisian concept store COLETTE, mixing 70’s Japanese retro with some electro classics and French pop tracks creating a unique playlist and ambiance.
