Our key analysis was a multivariate logistic regression analysis that examined the association between exposure to sexual content on television at baseline and pregnancy after baseline, controlling for all covariates. Given that reporting of pregnancy may differ according to gender (ie, the factors involved in knowing that you are pregnant versus knowing that you impregnated someone else are possibly different), we used multiplegroup models to test whether parameters for each of our models differed according to gender. Our analyses found no evidence that any of the candidate predictors functioned differently in predicting pregnancy for female versus male teens. Therefore, we report the results of single-group analyses that were conducted with the sample as a whole.
