Sort of. You see, ever since its beginning, Power Rangers has taken its suit, monster, and Zord designs from the Japanese Super Sentai series of shows. Usually, when a fight scene involving the morphed rangers occurs in an episode, they splice in appropriate fight footage from that series' Sentai counterpart. For example, Power Rangers Super Megaforce took its suit and changing-into-past-rangers gimmick from 2011's Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, which is on this website for you to watch.

Well, I wouldn't really call myself smart. I only learned that by watching Linkara's History of Power Rangers videos.

You're welcome :) Try to watch Super Sentai shows especially Gokaiger, Shinkenger, Dekaranger and Dairanger, thay are fan favorites.
