Climate
The climate of Timor-Leste is characterised by the Asian tropical monsoonal system due to its
topographic relief and geographical location. The climate of Timor-Leste can largely be divided in to
two distinct seasons: the ‘Wet season’ (December to May) with the wettest month January, February
or May depending on the region; and the ‘dry season’ (June to November) with September-October
generally the driest months, also depending on the region. Further details on the current climate and
