Following 30 days of digestion, wheat straw at 3 and 2 mm sizes
had both produced significantly more biomethane than
1.25 mm. The average biomethane potential yield from the 3 and
the 2 mm wheat straw feedstock was 335 NmL-CH4 g-VS1. The
1.25 mm wheat straw particles achieved 307 NmL-CH4 g-VS1
when the enzyme was applied.
