Video format used for streaming (real-time) recording of DVD discs; contains actual audio and video recordings; works with .IFO files, which tell the DVD player where the VRO files are located.
VRO files can often be converted to standard .VOB files using conversion utilities like AuthoringWare DVD Integrator and AVS Video Tools VRO Converter.
Some video-editing programs can read VRO files if the file extension is changed to ".mpg." However, this does not alter the file format. If the file does not open after changing the extension, you should change it back to ".vro.
