In this case, Joe’s egoism comes into clashes with Joe’s altruism because Joe has to choose between his position in the company as the owner of business and consistent changes which would lead to the loss of the full control over business. The first option would be a sheer altruism from the part of Joe because Joe would have to sacrifice his position of the owner of business for the sake of well-being of the business, employees and all stakeholders. On the other hand, the third option would be absolutely egoistic because he would deceive stakeholders and new managers to gain profits from the change.
