2.4.4. Analysis for phenotypic and genetic correlation between dry season screening and wet season yield testing experiments
Grain yield, drought response index (DRI), total above ground total dry matter at anthesis (TDMa) and at maturity (TDMm) of all RILs determined in the wet season under various types of drought stress conditions and control, as described in Pantuwan et al. (2002a), were used to analyse the phenotypic and genetic correlation between dry season screening for drought resistance and wet season yield testing experiments. The experiment mean of the RILs for grain yield and harvest index in each growing condition (Pantuwan et al., 2002a) is shown in Table 2.
