Web update B
1. Promotional video showing off the facilities at both locations – in Thai (shows the interior of both the Rama 9 and Central World schools). – Edu First does this on their website. Inlingua, Berlitz, and Boston Bright have really good videos as well, but they focus more on the promotion of their services. Since Modulo has two top notch branches, we should show them off on the website. People remember more of what they see, not of what they read. If cost is an issue, there are possibly other options – for example, one of our students, Bush, is going to/ or has just finished a film program for his University. He might be keen on helping us.
2. The videos on the Boston Bright and Berlitz websites are unique, fun, and interesting for potential customers. It's nice to see some action on the page – staff speaking, teachers teaching, students giving feedback.
3. Clip video for each language (very short) to present our style of teaching
Comments: Low priority, to be updated after some research. This one is harder to implement, potentially. A video on our website should be of high quality and have a professional look. If done internally, it's very cost effective but we'd need to try first to see how good/bad it would look. Gear is not an issue, as any modern smart phone can shoot in full HD, but we'd have to make sure lighting and sound are good enough. Getting content such as staff, teachers and students speaking would be easy enough, though. Demo lessons are easily feasible, too, but we'd have to choose the right approach and angle(s). I'd rather not use external resources if at all possible, but we could inquire about external talents just in case. Rob, can your experience in photography translate to videography? Any staff/teachers interested in commenting on video and being posted online? Deadline: none for now.
Time: about 1-2 hours for the pics, 1-2 hours for HTML
Budget: 1) Minimal if done in-house. External microphone for better sound quality. Tripod. Quality editing software is available easily. 2) Not too high, probably, if we use a student such as Bush. 3) Prohibitive if done by a professional team.
Difficulty: moderate to hard: scripting/acting/editing
