In this study,the highest RS were present in Banginapalli (19.43g/100mL)and the lowest in Mulgoa and Raspuri (15.38 and 15.57g/100mL)cultivars,respectively(Table4). Even though the
cultivar Raspuri has less pectin content than Neelam (data not
presented),it has the lowest amount of sugars,and this could be
attributed to the stage of ripening(Varakumar et al.,2011).
