Thailand is a strategic hub of food production for both Asia and the rest of the world due to its biodiversity and
natural agricultural productivity. Entrepreneurs in Thailand’s agriculture and food processing industries continue to strive
to introduce new technologies. In addition, Thai government has introduced policies which support food production at
high standards of safety and quality. Thailand has both the high potential and the key fundamentals to become a major
production base and distribution center for world food production, as well as an attractive destination for international
investors. The government has set up the strategies for Thai cuisine to the world with the main aims shown as follows: 1)
to be one of the five world food exporters within 2-3 years with the highest creditability in safety, health, and sanitation,
2) to promote more export of raw materials and additional ingredients for Thai recipes, 3) to encourage Thai restaurants
aboard to become tourist information center along with the one tumbon one product scheme, and 4) to support the
increase of Thai restaurant businesses aboard with the services of the real Thai taste complied with international standard.
In order to cope with such opportunities, JWD Pacific Co., Ltd. has played a key role in storing food production at high
quality cold storage, and efficient cold chain management. Figure 1 illustrates a product flow in cold chain developed for
