Bangkok dropped below London as the most attractive city for international visitors this year because of political unrest in Thailand's capital, according to a survey released Wednesday.
But despite an 11% decline in estimated visitor arrivals this year, Bangkok remains the top destination in the Asian-Pacific region, according to the MasterCard Index of Global Destination Cities, released Wednesday. London regained its position as the top destination after a year in the second spot, thanks to 8% growth in expected arrivals.
