This multiple case study included interviews and information collection through
managers in different Asian countries who have completed extensive self-leadership
training. A global consultancy group that specializes in self-leadership development
conducted the training for the select managers. Additional interviews were conducted
with the principal trainers of the consultancy group and with a multi-national corporate
general manager who sponsored the self-leadership development program for a division
of 2,500 personnel. Additional performance and feedback data was gathered on each
