Using a nationally diverse longitudinal sample of 461 undergraduate business administration students organized as “self-managed” (e.g., Cohen & Ledford, 1994) teams, our paper develops and tests the argument that the structural characteristics of team networks and the diversity of team members interactively shape team potency and team performance.
