It is with a heavy heart that we are sending out the email, but as you might have noticed the server you are on have been far from stable enough for our liking over the last couple of weeks..
We have been consulting with Supermicro engineers which have come up with a possible cause for the issues, and we have ordered up hardware to replace the "faulty" parts, basically we are hitting an incompatability between the SAS3 Backplane and the harddrives that we are using for our servers, while this is working on our older servers, we are using a newer generation in Romania which are showing issues with this.
As mentioned, the parts have been ordered up and a estimate is that they will land in the datacenter on Tuesday, and we will naturally have things swapped right away..
As stated in the previous email, as soon as we feel that the servers are stable enough for our liking and we have not seen issues in a while, we will go ahead and compensate every single user on the server, in a 1:1 ratio, 1 day added for each day with issues..
