Lotte Mart, having advanced into markets in 3 overseas countries including China, Indonesia and Vietnam, is currently pursuing overseas businesses most actively among the distribution companies in Korea. In particular, we have achieved our status of global distribution company through acquisition of MAKRO China in May 2008, MAKRO Indonesia in November 2008 and TIMES China in December 2009. This is the largest scale of outlets being managed in overseas countries among the distribution companies in Korea, and Lotte Mart is ranked the 1st in Korea in terms of the total number of outlets being managed and operated in both Korea and overseas countries. In addition, we have secured distribution network necessary in becoming a global distribution company as we are operating larger number of overseas sales outlets than we have in Korea. Such performances were achieved within a little more than 3 years since our preparation for entry into overseas markets in earnest in 2006. Lotte Mart is planning to achieve the status of the 1st ranked distribution company in the distribution market in Asia by accelerating our expansion of outlets with focus on VRICS (Vietnam, Russia, India and China)
