– realisation of services by business processes;
– the use of shared data;
– the execution of a business process by the same roles or actors.
Each of these can be regarded as a ‘ subviewpoint ’ of the Business Process
Cooperation viewpoint. Below, we give examples of some of the resulting views.
In Fig. 7.16, the most important business processes of ArchiSurance are
depicted. It also shows their relations, e.g., the Collect Premium process needs to
be preceded by the Close Contract process, since of course no premium can be
collected before the insurance policy has been issued. This figure also shows the
Handle Claim process that occurs in many of the other viewpoints.
