The profession of architecture, according to Architects Act (2007), embodies both the art and science of design, building layout planning, land development and readjustment, urban and community planning and architectural art conservation. With the continuous growth of local communities and the advancement of science and technology, modern society is now facing with increasing pressures of pollution, environmental and conservation concerns. Thereby, eligible architects are highly in demand and there is a need to develop a curriculum in architecture that focuses on diversification, to achieve sustainable growth in communities.
