SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.—December 9, 2010—ON24, Inc., the global leader in webcasting and virtual event solutions, announced today that the company is hosting on December 14 the VUE2010 Virtual Events User Experience. This is the first user event tailored specifically for industry professionals who use virtual events or are considering virtual environments as a way to communicate with customers, prospects, partners and employees. The conference “emcee” will be musician and social media pioneer MC Hammer.
“With close to 4,000 registrants to date, this will be the world’s largest virtual user conference dedicated to virtual events,” said ON24 Vice President and CMO Denise Persson. “There is significant interest in a virtual event user conference; we organized VUE2010 in response to customer requests for this kind of networking and learning experience.” Sessions will feature presentations by virtual communication experts who will share their ideas and best practices.
“We asked MC Hammer to ‘emcee’ the first-ever virtual show about creating virtual events because we wanted someone who knows what it’s like to connect virtually with others. MC Hammer is passionate about technologies that we can all embrace. Anyone can join a virtual event–it doesn’t matter where you are. As long as you have a computer, you can join the conversation.”
