The Food and Beverage Service Certificate II Qualification (for Bar Boy, Bar Helper) consists of competencies that a person must achieve to prepare Mise-en-place, provide food and beverage services and provide a link between kitchen and service area. Furthermore, he/she has to provide general supports services for the guest within the front of the house areas of the establishment.
It also includes competencies in Communicate in English and process and financial sale transaction.
The Program covers 13 units of common competency, 7 units of functional competency - Function I and 5 units of functional competency-Function II and totaling 25 units
